519 Cars is an invitation-only wholesale vehicle marketplace for licensed motor vehicle dealers in Ontario. We inspect and list vehicles; dealers browse them and negotiate with us directly.

What we text, and to whom

Only dealers with a 519 Cars account, and only ones who have ticked the box below. Every account is a buyer — 519 Cars is the only seller on the platform — so these are all about vehicles you are buying or have bid on. We never buy, rent or share phone numbers, and there is no way to receive our messages without an account.

An offer you made was countered, accepted or declined
519 Cars sent you a vehicle
A bill of sale is ready for you to sign
A vehicle you have offered on is ending soon
A password reset link, or an account approval

How a dealer opts in

During signup, on the same form as the mobile number. The box is unchecked by default and ticking it is optional — an account is created either way. This is exactly what a dealer sees:
